Tommy Jacobs, PGA

Four-time PGA TOUR Winner and one of the youngest to play in the Masters

An American professional golfer and golf course owner/operator who competed on the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour. As an amateur golfer, Jacobs won the U.S. Junior Amateur and advanced to the semi-finals of U.S. Amateur which earned him an invitation to the 1952 Masters Tournament at the age of 17 (which was the record for the youngest ever competitor to participate in the event at the time).

He turned professional in 1956, won four times on the PGA TOUR and was also a member of the victorious 1965 US Ryder Cup team. 

Jacobs also etched his name into the history of the Southern California PGA by winning the Section Championship 3 times (‘71, ‘72, ‘76).
