Richard Chavez has been a member of the PGA since 1976. He worked at La Cumber Country Club and became the owner-operator of Twin Lakes Golf Course from 1977-2000. He was named the Director of Golf at Santa Barbara GC (SBGC) from 1981-2008 and currently teaches at SBGC and Ivey Ranch Country Club in Palm Desert. He was named Golf Professional of the Year in 2000 and won the Clubfitter Award in 2005.
