Jeff Johnson has been a PGA Member since 1977 and the recipient of Honorary Life Member awards in the Southern California Section and the San Diego and Inland Empire Chapters. He was awarded with the PGA’s highest honor, Golf Professional of the Year on three occasions, twice in San Diego and also in the southern California Section. Johnson also served on the SCPGA Board of Directors for 25 years and three years as President. Johnson began his career at the San Diego Country Club and served as Head Golf Professional in the 1970’s and moved to Singing Hills Country Club in the 1980’s, where he remained until opening Steele Canyon Golf Club in 1990. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the Southern California PGA Section.
