Bob Rosburg, PGA
American professional golfer and broadcasterAn American professional golfer, who later in life became a golf broadcaster for ABC sports.
During his days on the PGA TOUR, Rosburg won 6 times including the 1959 PGA Championship (hosted at Minneapolis Golf Club). He also was a member of the victorious 1959 US Ryder Cup Team, and after his playing career hoisted the 1969 PGA Club Professional Championship.
Following his playing days, Rosburg joined ABC television and became an on-course reporter for golf events. At the time of his death, in 2009, Rosburg held the distinction of being the longest serving golf announcer on television with over 30 years of experience.
