A PGA Member since 1975, Andy Thuney has served as the Head Golf Professional at Western Hills Country Club, Candlewood Country Club and (his longest tenure of 33 years) at Hacienda Golf Club. Thuney was the President of the Southern California PGA from 1986-87, and recipient of the SCPGA Golf Professional of the Year in 1988. 

In 2007, Thuney was named an Honorary Member of the Southern California PGA.
